Guidelines for Rotary Funding
The Rotary Club of
Stratford receives numerous requests for funding. In fact the requests far
exceed the financial resources of the Club. Therefore we measure each request
against the long-standing priorities of Rotary as established over our 83-year
history.
A) Regular funding: The Rotary Club of
Stratford will support those organizations and agencies in our community that
help those who are disadvantaged, focusing on the disabled, education, and
youth.
B) Priority will be given to those projects
which have no- or limited- access to other sources of funding.
C) Projects sanctioned by Rotary International
warrant consideration, particularly as they affect the local community.
D) Pilot projects that will benefit the
community in whole or in part will be considered for one-time start-up costs.
If your organization would like to submit a request for funding please
include the following information in a letter:
1) Description of the project, including those
who would benefit and how.
2) Estimated total cost or annual budget or
business plan
3) Specific amount requested from the Rotary
Club of Stratford
4) Other sources ( with amounts) of confirmed
funding
5) Note on government funds available and which have been applied for- municipal,
county provincial, federal
6) Donor recognition- how will Rotary’s
contribution be acknowledged?
7) Contact person and phone/fax/email information
A member of Rotary’s Request committee will follow up your application
with further questions, if needed.
