The 2009 evening of scotch Mist will follow last year's highly enjoyable production with some new twists and turns.
This is going to be an elegant and fun evening at the Arden Park Hotel.
There will be five scotch tastings (or as the experts call it, 'nosings') and throughout the evening each scotch selection is matched carefully to food selections.
For those, who do not yet appreciate the joys of scotch, red and white wine is offered too. The evening will be directed by our Master of Ceremonies and
will include inside information from a fine scotch Ambassador; reenactment of the secret "Addressing the Haggis" ceremony , our own Bagpiper, an auction of rare scotches and other items.
This event is a fund raiser for the Rotary Club of Stratford. Current projects include a commitment to help fund a Mental Health wing at the Stratford Hospital, diverse literary programmes,
funding of aquaboxes to disaster-hit areas and ongoing maintenance of the Rotary Respite House.
There is a limited number of tickets which are are available at $75.00 each. This includes the scotch or wine tasting drinks
and an outstanding classic dinner featuring scottish delicacies as well as gratuities and taxes. Note: we ask that male guests wear a jacket and tie and certainly wear a kilt if you have one, and we hope the ladies will bring out their finery.
Tickets will not be available at the door.
